Ayeyarwady Foundation encourages orphans and aged people

With constant encouragement to social communities, Ayeyarwady Foundation has always driven its activities to help various sectors, promoting the future of our nation.

Activities led by the daughter and son of U Zaw Zaw, Chairman of the foundation, along with their friends of youths, encouraged the children from orphanage and people from home for the aged in hard time of COVID-19 crisis, with the contributions of cash aids, rice aids and other food stuffs.

In the morning of 6ᵗʰ June 2020, the first activity performed by the youths of the foundation, has provided rice aids, food stuffs, foods and toys for the children, and one million MMK of cash donation to U Dhama Nanda, the Venerable Monk of the school at Myo Set Thit philanthropy school in Htain Na Pin village, Htan Ta Bin township, Yangon region, where 152 of orphans from infants to school children and monks.

After that, second activity followed for the 71 orphans from infacts to school children, supporting them rice, food stuffs and other stuffs along with one million MMK at Myittar Yin Khwin orphanage center in Shwe Pyi Thar township.

On 7ᵗʰ June, Ayeyarwady Foundation continued its contributions to Chan Thar Aung nunnery school in East Dagon township, where 45 children and 15 nuns live in, with cash aid of 1.2 million MMK, rice aids and other food stuffs. And then, the foundation also provided rice aid, food stuffs, Ensure Nutrition Cans along with 1.46 million MMK to YGW home for the aged in Kyi Zu village, Dagon Seikkan township, where 34 aged people are living in.
